We share a lot about what type of interior design decisions will help mom and mom-to-be save money and encourage confidence in their youthful spaces. Today we wanted to touch on another important way for all you mommies to gain confidence and inspiration through fashion.

Let me introduce you to Ready Pretty, and owner Jeannine Adams. Ready Pretty provides virtual wardrobe styling for real, busy women. Jeannine, a mom herself, can appreciate the special wardrobe considerations of mom-to-be. A pregnant woman's body can go through various sizes and clothing needs in a matter of weeks. From business attire to everyday wear to holiday dresses, the Ready Pretty stylist can help you choose pieces that are stylish, comfy and budget conscious.

"I had been helping friends and family with their style, but more importantly with feeling good in their clothes... " – Jeannine Benoit Adams, founder

Q: wHERE WERE YOU AND WHAT WERE YOU DOING WHEN YOU DECIDED TO START READY PRETTY?

A: I'm not sure I can pinpoint the exact moment that I decided to start Ready Pretty, it is truly had been something I was doing "un-officially" for years. Prior to Ready Pretty, I was in advertising and PR, but was also a fashion writer and content creator on the side. I knew that eventually I wanted to go full-on into the fashion industry and that it was simply a matter of time in terms of when I would be ready to take that leap. I had been helping friends and family with their style, but more importantly with feeling good in their clothes, so I knew there was an opportunity to help more women. At one point, I just felt there was a business idea in there and my hubby and I sat down at the kitchen table and started tossing name ideas around. Ready Pretty was officially born!

Q: wHAT IS READY PRETTY ALL ABOUT?

A: At the core, Ready Pretty is about empowering women to feel confident, put together, empowered and a better version of themselves in the clothing they wear every day. Too often, I find as women and as moms, we put ourselves last - and sometimes that comes in the form of ill-fitting clothes, outdated items or just ugly outfits all together! I have always believed that clothing can be transformative. When you look good, you feel good. At Ready Pretty, we've taken something as materialistic as clothing and turned it into something as important as empowering women and unlocking the confidence in us all.

Q: How does ready pretty's personal styling services work?  wHAT IS YOUR MOST POPULAR PACKAGE?

A: Ready Pretty is a mostly online virtual personal wardrobe styling service that helps real, busy women get dressed. We've streamlined the shopping process for our users by pairing them with a stylist that will send a curated selection of pieces or full outfits to help take the stress out of shopping. In addition - and what our users love the most - is that we show them how to wear and how to best style each piece to ensure getting dressed in the mornings doesn't turn into a chore. Our users have the opportunity to select a package that best fits their current fashion needs, be it a quick outfit for an upcoming event like a wedding or a full collection of personalized recommendations and pairings.

Upon selecting on of our style services online, users are prompted to fill out a one-time comprehensive style profile so we can learn more about their style aspirations, sizing, budget, celeb style crushes, etc. It helps to paint a picture of who we're working with and what their wardrobe needs are. From there, we set up a video or phone consultation so we can chat live and get any additional details we might need to select the very best Ready Pretty picks! Users are then sent a link to their Virtual Closets where they can shop from the comfort of their own homes and communication directly on that platform with their stylists.

There's a package for every user depending on her need! Our most popular offering is our Maxi Package - its a seasonal wardrobe refresh that ensures you don't have to think about shopping on your own for the entire year. Each quarter our users will receive 10 style recommendations as well as style tips on how to create amazing new outfits with each piece. It takes the guesswork out of shopping and keeps your personal stylist on deck for an entire year!

Q: We think a mom-to-be could benefit greatly from your personal styling services. could a stylist help her from trimester to trimester and beyond?

A: Absolutely! We've worked with several mommy's-to-be straight through to post-pregnancy! With everything you have to think about during pregnancy, looking great might be the very last thing on your mind. And as your body starts to change, it can be a challenge to sort out exactly what you need vs. what you don't. Our soon-to-launch (Oct 15) Mommy-To-Be Package tailored to mommy's-to-be gets you the 12 key pieces that will take you from baby bump to immediate postpartum lumps and beyond! It's a great way to know that you've got the right pieces in your wardrobe to see you through pregnancy/post-baby.

Q: What are some items that will be more important for a mom-to-be to have in her closet that are different from before she was pregnant?

A: My must-have items for every mom-to-be are a good bra and comfy undies, great maternity jeans, one casual daytime dress, one go-to dress that works for evening or special events, a super stylish and comfortable pair of flats, and a cozy wrap/cardigan/jacket. There are other great pieces depending on where you live, what you do, you needs etc., but we tend to start there when it comes to sorting out maternity style needs. Brands we love include Rosie Pope, Seraphine, Hatch, ASOS, H&M, PinkBlush, Storq and Rachel Pally among so many others.

Q: HOw about giving the new mom a style boost? what kind of items should she be looking for with a post-pregnancy body?

A: If you're like me, things might be a bit "different" for a while. My advice, embrace that body and what it's just done. Opt for high waisted pants (jeans, leggings, etc) to camouflage the pooch and go for more structured basics that create definition where there may not be any. I lived in great blazers, tees, my loafers and denim for those first few months post-baby.

Q: Let's shift style gears. what's your own personal home decor style? what favorite pieces do you have peppered in your home?

A: My home style is some parts transitional, some parts eclectic and just a dash of modern. My favorite pieces are all hand-me-downs from my family including a vintage tea set from my grandmother, a gorgeous marble chess set from my parents and this incredible horse head (sounds strange but it's awesome!) wine chiller that's been in my family ever since I can remember.

I made a large scale piece of artwork that says "You'll Be Fine" that sits in our master bedroom. It's an inside joke between me and my hubby and makes me laugh every time I look at it. New to my list of favorites is an incredible piece of artwork by one of my closest friends, Emily Anne Farrell Art. It was part of her "Unconventional Ladies" series and is just an absolutely beautiful piece of art. It's special pieces like these that make a house a home.

Q: Do you have a social media style crush and/or favorite blog?

A: While I am a contributing writer for The EveryGirl, I'm also a huge fan and avid reader of the site. They're kind of my go-to for so many things: health, fitness, cooking, travel, finances, etc. The founders have done such a great job talking to women just like me - I feel lucky to play a small role in a site that I love.

In terms of style crushes - that one is a hard one! I follow several bloggers due to the nature of my work and love so many of them for different seasons. However I can say right now I love everything that Millie Mackintosh wears - she takes really cool risks with her fashion and style that's easily translatable into real life.

Q: What's next for ready pretty?

A: Beyond the Mommy-To-Be styling package, we're also planning to roll out a new endeavor to better promote and support small boutiques and brands across the US starting with Chicago. There are so many incredible shops and creators right in our own backyards and our goal is to offer a new way for our users to find beautiful, unique pieces and for those shops and labels to succeed at the same time. It's a labor of love but we're excited to share it all soon.

Q: I had a friend who once said "how cool would it be if music followed you  around like it did in the movies?" wHICH SONGS WOULD YOUR LIFE'S SOUNDTRACK INCLUDE?

A: I don't know if I can give you a soundtrack of my life, but I can say that as a business owner I've had some pretty big moments that I've used music to help me through. In those moments, I always listen to one song. Eminem's "Lose Yourself" (ha- I know!) Is the song I put on when I need to muster up some courage to seize an opportunity, task a risk, make an important decision in my business. Sometimes a girl just needs to hear Eminem say "You only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow 'cuz; opportunity comes once in a lifetime." :) I can say wholeheartedly, with Ready Pretty, I'm taking my shot.
