These days as we stick close to home many families are re-evaluating their living spaces. As we sit longer in a chair binging Netflix or sit around the dining room table – we can't help take note of spots that aren't quite as comfy as we thought they were. We also have a desire to make our spaces work better. The nursery is one space in the home YouthfulNest strives to guide our clients to be comfortable and functional. With all the hours we spend in the nursery comfy isn't just a physical feeling but also a visual one. Your eyes take in your environment and you internalize what you see. So soft or muted colors are often recommended for a more calming space for babe and parents. Our recent partnership with Project Nursery takes into consideration all aspects of setting up the nursery. This southern charmer of a nursery has all that. Comfort, beauty, and functionality. Designed by YouthfulNest designer Caitriona Boyd for Morgan Bullard – this is one mama who is sitting pretty and comfy.

I connected with celebrity stylist ElShane through a national community for working moms like myself called HeyMama. Our early communication was a bit shaky. You see ElShane had one little girl already and has an amazing larger than life personal style. So why would she need a nursery designer? She admitted it was hard to trust another person with the creation of such a personal space, even a design professional. On our first calls I shared my initial thoughts on how she could get all the functionality in the tiny space she was having to carve out of her New York City rental and I walked her through the convenient e-design process – she ultimately realized the YouthfulNest virtual expert service was exactly what her busy schedule needed. This shining star of a nursery is the true meaning of good things come in small packages. It's time! Time for their first born to transition into a big kid bed and pass down his crib to his baby brother-to-be. With the Adams' family now living in their new Chicago home there is plenty of space for two new kids' rooms with one dedicated to a baby nursery. Which is exciting and a bit daunting to mom Jeannine. That's where YouthfulNest steps in to help Jeannine achieve the nursery design of her California dreams. Jeannine is one stylish mamma. Which makes sense since she is also the owner of Ready Pretty, an online service that helps women everywhere dress better. Once she drops off her son at child care the rest of her day is filled developing marketing campaigns; coordinating the launch of new services; appearing on local T.V. shows; and writing fashion focused articles for a couple popular blogs. Just another day in the life of this modern mom.

Today we are revealing this beautiful baby boy's Neutral Nursery completed with our online design service. Of course it didn't start out this way. In fact, it was the perfect pink and pretty room – for a little girl. Our client, Liz Lentis and I had connected over our love of saving moms time and money. Liz is the co-founder of LittleList.com, a site dedicated to introducing moms and moms-to-be to new products at exceptional promotional prices. When I learned Liz was pregnant with her second child, a little boy, and tackling a big makeover I filled her in on how our convenient, virtual interior design services would be the perfect fit for her busy schedule and time sensitive design needs. Since she knew she would be tackling a complete overhaul including new furniture and new wall color, she decided to go with our most popular edesign services rolled into the YouthfulNest Premium package. "The space needed such a dramatic makeover and I didn't know how it would be without the designers seeing it in person. But I was able to send send inspiration via Pinterest and the YouthfulNest team nailed it in terms of my vision for a neutral nursery." -Liz This post may contain affiliate links which help support our blog efforts. Harper is a darling little two and a half year old who walks around on her tippy toes even hours after her ballet class has ended. Her mom, Kim, and I met each other through our participation in a local Mom’s Club. So I was tickled pink to learn that she had won a donated YouthfulNest kid's virtual interior design service made to the Omaha Rose Theatre auction. Kim Nolan and her husband Jimmy wanted to give their daughter Harper a very special third birthday gift – a very personal big girl bedroom. This post may contain affiliate links which help support our blog efforts. Today I share a very special toddler girl's bedroom reveal – it is for my totally adorable niece Graelin who packs big personality into a littles body. Her mom loved the convenience of our virtual interior design services since they are in Atlanta and I am in Omaha. I’ve been waiting two years to get my virtual design hands on this little girl's room. That's because when Graelin was born my sister and her husband had just moved to Atlanta, GA and were living in a condo until they could find the right house and neighborhood in Decatur, GA. Graelin is now 2 and a half. So while I didn’t get to create a nursery design for her I did pour my heart and soul into her “big girl” kid's bedroom design. I was looking through dozens of room images taken the day before at a photo shoot capturing the Jarrett’s new nursery, when I received a text from Stephanie, “Thank you for a great room! I just felt like sleeping in there last night ;)”. I simply replied, “You’re welcome!” I then smiled and thought to myself, ”You’ll get plenty of chances to sleep in that room!”.
