While you’re still coming out of your holiday hangover we’ve been coming up with our top nursery trends for 2018. 1. purple with envyWith the announcement of Pantone’s color of the year, Ultra Violet, we are sure to see an increase of this pretty purple. Pops of lavender and purple will ignite power and passion into your space. Look for bedding, rugs, an accent wall or maybe even a piece of furniture to bring the color in. 2. mother birdThere is something so whimsical and free when it comes to birds. So why not in your child's bedroom? Whether it be a bright pink flamingo, of soft white swan there are so many ways to incorporate birds: wallpaper, stuffed animals, mobiles and art. 3. Not over the rainbowRainbows are here to stay! And why wouldn't they be? They evoke happiness and joy. Let them be the jumping off point to add a little bit of color in your space. 4. color me badLooking for a pop of color to add some fun and interest to your nursery? Why not the crib? There are so many colorful crib options out there from metallic gold to Kelly green. And since the crib is not a permanent fixture in your child's room, it can be swapped out in a few years when you're over the color. 5. It's what's inside that countsBring the hidden beauty of nature into your nursery. Geodes are going to be huge this year, think geode bookends, lamps, photography, etc. 6. Skies the limitHave them reaching for the stars, both in design and your child's imagination. Give them a room that they can dream in for years to come. Clouds, stars and moons are all out of this world design elements for 2018. 7. swing awayDid you know that swings aren't just made for the playground anymore? What a thrill it would be to have your own swing in your room. There are so many options for indoor swings. Chairs that hang from the ceiling to shelves that look like a swing. There are even hanging cribs and hammocks.
